A Cure For Snoring!

Remember a few posts ago I posted about how Mike's snoring was driving me crazy? Well, I happened upon this wonderful little device that has been a life saver.....Mike's life, that is.
I'm not kidding. This little thing that you wear up your nose around the septum, like a ring in a bull's nose, does wonders! Mike snores so loudly that it literally vibrates the bed and hurts my ears. He wore the Snoreclipse last night and he didn't snore at all! I actually went to bed at 10pm and slept until the alarm went off this morning! I never once had to poke him and tell him to roll over. I didn't have thoughts of smothering him in his sleep, either. It was the best night's sleep I've had in months!
I don't know how it works, but it's made out of a flexible, medical grade plastic with two earth magnets that apply gentle, constant pressure to the septum, promoting nasal circulation. It's absolutely amazing!
I got it at WalMart for around $10, and knowing what I know now, I'd gladly pay twice that! It's reuseable, and even has a one year guarantee!
I just thought I'd pass this along to other snoring sufferers out there. It's well worth the money, especially if you've forgotten what a good night's sleep really feels like!

I Want To Put A Pillow Over His Face

How can he not hear himself?! How can he sleep through all that racket? The noise is so loud, I can feel it vibrating the bed! And yet, he sleeps....and snores.

I woke him up and made him put one of those Breathe Right strips across his nose. I think it only made it worse. For instead of the slow, loud rumbling from before the strip, it is now a fast, whiny, loud whistle. I can't win for losing.

So here I sit, 11:15pm, wondering what else I can do to make him stop snoring. Short of smothering him with his own pillow, I'm out of ideas.

So Tired

I could crawl back in bed for the rest of today! I didn't sleep at all last night. Who can sleep with a freight train laying in the bed next to you?

Seriously. Mike snored ALL NIGHT LONG! And not only did he snore, he talked in his sleep and flopped around like a fish out of water. He talked about fishing and working. I could almost hold an entire conversation with him, and he didn't even know it! I have the feeling he'd never be able to deceive me. He'd tell on himself in his sleep!

Just when I thought he was settling down, Timothy started coughing. He coughed for a half hour before I finally got up and gave him some cough medicine. Then, he coughed and whined some more. I got back up and put some Vicks on the bottoms of his feet. That seemed to do the trick......for a little while.

The last I looked at the clock it was 2:30am. The alarm is set to go off at 3:15 so Mike can get up for work. I sent him out the door and went back to bed. The alarm went off a second time at 6:00 for the kids to go to school. I felt like I had just closed my eyes!

I swear, if Mike has another night like last night, I'm going to kick his snoring, talking, fish-flopping butt out of bed! He can sleep on the couch!

A nap is looking like a really good idea today.
