It's Time to Remodel

My goal this winter is to get some painting and remodeling done on the house. We've been here almost 5 years and the royal blue walls in the living room are.....um.....ugly. Sorry sweet neighbor lady that sold us the house, but your choice of colors throughout this house has got to go!

I'm starting in the kitchen just because that's where I spend most of my time and it's got the easiest area to paint. I'm thinking green of some sort, and maybe a tile back splash behind the sink. Maybe I'll tile the counters. I'm not sure yet.

One thing I'm sure of though is the sink. I need a new sink and I want stainless steel. No fuss, no muss. I also want one of the whirlpool faucets in the picture. I just have an old standard faucet now, but would like something that is higher, for washing those big pots and pans. This faucet is gorgeous! I think it will go just fine with the stainless steel sink and a dark green color, don't you?
