Apparently, some ingenious, playful artist thought it would be a good idea to place the sculpture in the river. Sadly, the Department of Natural Resources does not see it as funny and wants it removed immediately. They say it is obstructing the Chippewa River.
The artist responsible for the sculpture is a mystery, but an anonymous email states that the sculpture will be removed within the next 10 days.
