Love my Toshiba Laptop

I think I'm in the market for a new laptop. I'm just undecided as to what to get. I love my current Toshiba laptop, but it's old, slow, and ready to retire. I'm seriously contemplating one of those toshiba netbooks because when I'm not at home, I could really use something ultra light and portable. My laptop is so big and heavy, I hate dragging it with me anywhere.

What thoughts do you have on the subject of laptops vs. netbooks? I know the netbook isn't as fast or as capable as a full-fledged laptop, but I think that might be okay. Before I go out and buy one, I'd like to hear your experience with them.
