New TV for the Blind

As my eyesight grows worse, I find I watch less and less TV. It's just too difficult to spend more than 10 minutes focusing on the screen. We have one of the old model-type TVs, and quite frankly it sucks. I think it's time to invest in a flat screen LCD TV so I can enjoy watching again. Of course, we'll have to get one of those flat screen tv stands, too. I only hope I can find something that fits with my new living room decor.

Mike and I have been talking about getting a new TV for months now. I don't think he gets how much I hate watching TV now that I can't see as well. I guess I'm just going to have to impress upon him my desire to have a bigger, better TV. I don't want to spend the money, but I sure do miss watching my favorite shows!
