The discussion in the car on the way home tonight turned to the birds and the bees. I wanted to make sure our youngest (now 11 and very curious) knew what it was and how it all worked. I was trying to get him to tell me what he knew, rather than me telling him everything I know.
Mike decided to lighten the mood with this:
"If you feel something stirring in your pants, hit it with a ruler."
It was hard (no pun intended) to continue the conversation after that.
I've ordered Mike to continue with the discussion at a later date, mano y mano.
