For the Love of Pete!

Who's this Pete guy, you ask?

Well, I don't actually know him, but I swear to him all the time. It's like I know him. He's become a part of my daily life, and I love him.

Wait. Ummm.....

Yes, yes, I do believe I love him. Not LOVE, love. But the kind of love that makes you feel comfortable. Because, if I didn't have Pete to swear to, someone may have gotten hurt by now.

Seriously. Pete has saved the lives of my children more than once. And even my husband's. Mike demands to know who Pete is all the time, but I don't tell. I just say, "Wouldn't you like to know?" and walk away, leaving him to wonder.
