The End of the World

Tim: Mom, we are less than a year away from the end of the world.

Me (be-bopping to my mp3 player): You don't say? (nodding my head in rhythm)

Tim: Yes, I do say. December 12, 2012 is going to be the end of the world as we know it.

Me: Why do you listen to that stuff. It's not true. (I've stopped be-bopping now.)

Tim: But what if it is? I think we need to start looking at some portable honda generators. What if the electric goes out? How will we cook our food?

Me: We could live off the land. You know, cook our food over an open fire.

Tim: Mom, you know I don't like anything roasted over a campfire.
