In an effort to make myself feel a little better and get out of this funk I find myself in, I decided to join in on the meme going on at MommyCommunity. Even though I don't view what I do as "good deeds", it might be nice to "toot my own horn" and encourage other moms to do the same. All to often, what we moms do is taken for granted, and we rarely receive praise for all the good things we do for our families.

Here goes.....

Last Friday night at PM, my oldest informed me that the Wrestling club needed baked goods for the Regional Wrestling Tournament the High School was hosting on Saturday. Like the good mother I am, I went to the store, bought everything I needed to make chocolate chip cookies and sugar cookies, and stayed up until PM baking cookies for the tournament.

Then, I got up early Saturday morning and headed over to the school to sit all day long at the tournament to watch said oldest take third place.

It's all in a day's work, and it's what we moms do.
