Evolving Into Something More

I originally started this blog with the idea of making money with it eventually. I knew that it would take a while for this to happen since a blog must be so many months old and have so many posts in order to be approved by most of the paying services out there. I figured I would spend a few months blogging about whatever, and then when my blog was approved I'd start writing reviews and whatnot to make money.

However, I may be rethinking that idea now. This blog has taken on a life of its own, and I didn't realize that so many people would actually like my writing. Who would've thought that anyone would really care what I had to say?

I receive so many positive comments and reviews on my blog each day that I'm not so sure about turning it into an advertising blog anymore. I have a couple of surveys on here from DNeero, but even that seems to take away from the overall "feel" of the blog. So here I sit, on the fence about blogging for pleasure or blogging for profit.

What do you all think? Would you be less apt to come back each day if you had to wade through a few ads and reviews to get to the personal stuff? Would it even matter? I do so enjoy blogging, and I love the visitors I have each day. I'd really like to hear what you all have to say. Leave me a comment and tell me what you think.

I'm cross about it myself, although making money in the process sounds good. Like one post can be the paid services and then one but your won and just label them PPP or something so people know where to look for your personal posts. I joined myself months ago lol. I was approved but have yet to begin blogging. I got a bit lazy to go and find out how I'm suppose to go about it. but I think deciding is really always going to come down to how you feel about it. You can try it and if you don't fancy it then just stop. Worth a shot since you went to the trouble of joining. Good luck on whatever you decide :)
