American Idol Top 16: The Girls

I said it before, and I'll say it again. I love, love, love the 80's. I grew up listening to 80's music, and it's still my favorite today. Tonight's show featuring the girls really brought back some good memories, and makes me wish I hadn't missed the guys last night.

All I have to say is if Syesha and Carly don't make it to the final two girls, I'm going to be disappointed. I absolutely loved listening to the two of them tonight.

I do have to say, Amanda Overmeyer did a better job this week. She was back in her element, sans the lion mane, and rocked the house.

As for the bottom two? I believe it'll be Kady Malloy and Kristy Lee Cook. I didn't think Kady did well at all despite Simon saying it was possibly her best performance. And I do believe Simon is right about Kristy. She is forgettable. She can sing, but nothing stands out about her.

That's my picks for this week. We'll see tomorrow how close I called it.
