We Made It!

We made it through the busy weekend! All the kids made it to where they had to be, on time, and all went well.

Rebecca had her Destination Imagination Regional competition. Although, they did really well, their team isn't moving on to the state level. It's all good, though. Rebecca is already preparing for next year!

Timothy had his first wrestling tournament on Saturday. He took third place in his bracket! He even pinned one of his opponents! Not too shabby for a rookie!

Tristan's wrestling banquet was really nice. The meal was excellent. Tristan received a really nice speach about what an asset he is to the team, and a perfect attendance award. I made a couple new friends and even had a new drink! A banana banshee. It's an after dinner, ice cream drink. If you've never tried it, you should! Very delicious!

So, that was our busy Saturday. I was hoping that it was just a fluke that all three kids had to be in three different places at the same time, but it was only wishful thinking. Tomorrow night, is one last Destination Imagination practice for Rebecca, track practice/parents' meeting for Tristan, and then the Fall Awards Ceremony where Tristan will receive his Varsity letter for wrestling this year. Granted, it's not all three children, but it will be a very busy evening.
