These were Mike's words as he drove home last night from his parents' house with a big smile on his face.
A few years ago, Mike traded his beloved muscle car to his dad for a boat. It needed a little work, we didn't have the money to do it, and fishing was a big thing, and he was in need of a boat. His dad took the car, drove it very little, and then put it in storage, where it's been for the last two years.
In the meantime, his dad bought a brand new Dodge Charger and last night, told Mike that if he wanted the car back, it was his. If Mike didn't take it, he was going to junk it. Mike's eyes lit up and in an instant, the two long-lost friends were reunited.
It needs a little body work. It needs a little engine work, but for the most part, it's drivable. I guess it's going to become a father-son project this summer. Whether it will be a car that Tristan is allowed to drive will remain to be seen. I'm not a big fan of teenagers with muscle cars, and it's going to take a lot of convincing and proof before I allow it.
It's fun to see the two of them so excited about it, though. It'll be neat to see the two of them working side by side on something they both love.

Awww, that's great! I had two Trans Am's way back when. Loved them. Can't fit four kids in them now though:)
