Attack of the Mosquitoes!

The mosquitoes around here are out for blood, let me tell you! They are just terrible lately. During the day, late at night, it doesn't matter. Even my tried and true methods of mosquito repellent do not work on these babies. It's almost time to break out the big guns!

We haven't had but a drop or two of rain since the flooding a couple of weeks ago, and everything is dry around here. Really dry. We need rain. I have no idea where these little buggers are hiding, or where they are finding their moisture at, but they must be finding it somewhere because they are bigger and hungrier than I can ever remember in previous years.

I can't even work in my garden without being attacked, day or night. My legs and arms are all bit up, and I itch like crazy! My kids informed me that it's only the females that bite. Go figure. Why doesn't that surprise me? I'm guessing that about 95% of the mosquito population is female at this point. They all bite!

I'm thinking about buying a mosquito net for my face so I can work in the garden. Hell, do they make a mosquito net suit? I'd buy it!
