Intex Easy Set Pools

Who owns one of these pools?

We have a smaller one, the 10ft wide by 30 inches deep. I'm just about ready to throw the thing in the garbage, I swear!

The pool itself is in good shape, but the pump/filter isn't working properly. I can't figure it out. I cleaned it all up, which it wasn't that bad to begin with. I bought new filters, and made sure everything is connected right. The darned thing will not pump the water through properly. It keeps sucking air. What baffles me is, it only does it when the filter is in it.

If I take the filter out, it will work like a champ. I put the filter back in and within ten minutes, it's sucking air again and not moving the water through.

Anyone else have this problem?
