Well, it's not exactly back pain anymore. Now, it's more of a pain in the right butt cheek and the calf of my right leg, combined with numbness and tingling in the second and third toe of my right foot. The muscles in my butt and calf are so tight, it almost feels like that leg is shorter than the other. Even the muscle relaxers don't help entirely.
I've done some research online about my type of pain, and came up with Piriformis Syndrome. It's kind of a catch-all phrase, but it includes all the symptoms I have. I don't know how any of this information really helps me, but at least I can put a name to the pain. There isn't much to do to treat it, but if it doesn't get better soon, I'm going to have to go back to the doctor to check for any herniated disks and such.
Anyway, I was pleased to see that there is actually a medical name for a pain in the butt!
