Has everyone decided who they're voting for in the Presidential election? I'm still undecided as to whether I'll even vote. I know, I know. Everyone should vote. But, while I know I do not want John McCain to get into office, I just don't know about Barack Obama. There's just something about him that I'm not comfortable with. I can't put my finger on it.
It's time for a change, and another Republican in office is not the direction we need to be going. President Bush has done nothing positive while in office, and I have nothing good to say about him, so I feel that another Republican is asking for more trouble.
What I don't like is that Obama wants to raise taxes. As if we're not paying enough as it is, and can't afford to live comfortably anymore. Raising taxes would be detrimental to a lot of people, including us. He's got some good ideas, I'll admit, but I just don't know.
I suppose the lesser of two evils would be Barack Obama, and that's who I'll probably vote for, in order to try and keep McCain from winning the election. It's just really tough to make a decision when whoever gets in has so much control over so many lives.

Actually, Obama wants to raise taxes on the upper 1 percent (read that as the multi millionaires who pay very little in taxes), and not raise taxes on anyone who makes under 250 thousand (I think that is the number). Go here...get the facts:
http://www.barackobama.com/issues/economy/#tax-relief
Here it is:
Provide Middle Class Americans Tax Relief
Obama will cut income taxes by $1,000 for working families to offset the payroll tax they pay.
* Provide a Tax Cut for Working Families: Obama will restore fairness to the tax code and provide 150 million workers the tax relief they need. Obama will create a new "Making Work Pay" tax credit of up to $500 per person, or $1,000 per working family. The "Making Work Pay" tax credit will completely eliminate income taxes for 10 million Americans.
* Eliminate Income Taxes for Seniors Making Less than $50,000: Barack Obama will eliminate all income taxation of seniors making less than $50,000 per year. This proposal will eliminate income taxes for 7 million seniors and provide these seniors with an average savings of $1,400 each year. Under the Obama plan, 27 million American seniors will also not need to file an income tax return.
* Simplify Tax Filings for Middle Class Americans: Obama will dramatically simplify tax filings so that millions of Americans will be able to do their taxes in less than five minutes. Obama will ensure that the IRS uses the information it already gets from banks and employers to give taxpayers the option of pre-filled tax forms to verify, sign and return. Experts estimate that the Obama proposal will save Americans up to 200 million total hours of work and aggravation and up to $2 billion in tax preparer fees.
Read the entire thing...it will tell you his plan...and that plan is NOT to raise taxes...at least not for those who are not rich. He said on O'Reilly that he will lower the taxes for 95% percent of Americans.
