To Be A Millionaire

I was sitting in the garage this afternoon, having a cigarette (No, I didn't quit yet). I started daydreaming about what I would do if I ever won the lottery. How would I spend the money? How would my life change?

I think the very first thing I would do with the money is pay my house off. We just bought it a year and a half ago, so how great would it be to not have that huge house payment!

The next thing I would do is pay off all the other bills/debt we have. It's not an astronomical amount, but it's enough. No more doctor bills waiting to be paid when there's a little extra money. No more credit card bills with collectors calling if you're even a day late. That would be the life!

Beyond paying off our debt, I don't want to live extravagantly. I'd probably buy myself a new computer with everything I'd need to accommodate my eyesight. And maybe a new truck. It would be nice to have a brand new vehicle for a change!

Depending on how much we won, my husband might be able to quit his job. We could maybe take family vacations in a motor home in the summertime.

Dreaming about the easy life can be fun. It's the crashing back to reality that bites! When the mailman came and filled my mailbox with numerous bills today, my dream-bubble popped with a loud BANG!

Well, it was fun while it lasted!

SIGH! I know what you mean. I think I would do the same things as you... give or take. It would be nice to have a little money in the bank. I'm not going to look at my pile of mail... I don't want the bubble to pop! :-)
