American Idol: Season Seven

How about American Idol this year?! I do believe this year's contestants have got to be some of the most talented ever on the show. There are a couple that I'm not too fond of, but I think it had to do more with song choice tonight rather than whether they can actually sing or not. I'm not a big fan of the 60's.

My two favorites from tonight's performances were David Archuleta and Michael Johns. That David is a cutie! And so sweet, too. There's a lot of talent in that young boy! Michael has that deep voice that just makes me want to melt! I really liked his rendition of "Light My Fire" tonight. It was a very sexy performance! I predict that these two will go far in the competition.

Tomorrow, the girls take the stage. I'm really looking forward to hearing what they can do, especially Ramiele Malubay and Amanda Overmeyer. I think the old saying is true. Good thing do come in small packages where Ramiele is concerned. That girl can sing! I never expected such a big voice to come out of her. And Amanda has that rocker chick thing going on that really makes her interesting. Not to mention she has sung the hell out of every song so far.

So, it should be an interesting season, and I can't wait to see where it takes us. I think whoever wins this year's competition is going to be the biggest star yet!
