American Idol Top 20: The Cuts

I have to say, I was somewhat surprised by the elimination of Robbie Carrico from American Idol last night. While I don't think he would've made it all the way, I think it was a bit soon to vote him off. Especially when there are a couple others I feel should've been booted before him.

What isn't surprising is the elimination of Jason Yeager. For reasons I stated here, it was a good decision.

I was way off with the girls' elimination. To be honest, I can't even remember how Alexandrea Lushington did or what she sang. Was it that forgettable? If so, maybe it's a good thing she's gone.

As for Alaina, while I don't thing she would've made it to the end either, I didn't think she did that bad.

Well, that's it for another week of American Idol. It just keeps getting better and better as they dwindle down to the best singers.
