Darned Lifetime!

It's a good thing I'm home by myself during the day. As soon as the kids leave for school in the morning, I turn the TV to the Lifetime channel, and that's where it stays until they get home in the afternoon.

On more than one occasion, I've been known to break out in a full on bawl because of some stupid movie on this channel. Today's movie was about a mom who gives birth to her first child and then finds out she has cancer and dies, leaving behind a baby and a husband whom she tells just before dying to call the nurse that took care of them in the hospital and became close friends with. It all probably sounds complicated, but it's not really. That dying scene really got to me and I was sitting here bawling like it was my own mother dying of cancer.

Goodness, I need to get a life!
