Treatment for Drug and Alcohol Abuse

When it comes to drug or alcohol abuse, it's no laughing matter. I personally know someone who is suffering from alcoholism. When he's not drinking, he's miserable. When he is drinking, which is mostly every day, every one around him is miserable. There's no winning. He won't admit he's an alcoholic and needs help, but we all know it to be true.

His family has tried to get him into a drug treatment center, to no avail so far. I suppose he'll eventually get there if and when he is ready on his own. I just hope, for his sake and the sake of his family, that it's soon.
