I've been doing a little research on blogging communities, trying to gain a little more traffic for my blog and find other blogs similar to mine. I've come across a couple of communities and forums that are really cool and are full of information.
If you haven't joined any blogging communities yet, you're missing out on a great way to drive more traffic to your blog and maybe get some regular readers. I've had a lot of fun in these communities. It's interesting to see all the different blogs out there and makes for some really interesting reading material. Not to mention, the wealth of information out there. You might even learn a thing or two!
SpicyPage is a fun-looking community that allows you to submit your blog for others to vote and comment on. It's free to join, and allows you the chance to reach readers with the same interests as you.
FuelMyBlog is another community that allows you to submit your blog for free. Reach others that are interested in the same things as you and join the forums. Voting on the site might get you listed on the home page as "Blog of the Day", resulting in a nice flow of traffic to your blog.
Bloggeries is a really great place. Submit your blog for free, and be sure to check out their forums. There's a ton of information there on anything from blogging basics to making money with your blog.
These are just a few of the places I've submitted my blog. I started seeing traffic from them almost immediately! And the information I've gotten from other more experienced bloggers is priceless. Like I said, if you haven't already joined a couple of blogging communities, you're missing out.
