I just found out last night that this Saturday is going to be a busy, busy day. Actually, in the back of my mind, I knew it was coming, but it just hit me last night that we've got three kids all needing to be in three different places at the same time this Saturday.
And all of this has to happen with only one driver in the household.
Timothy has his first wrestling tournament starting early in the morning. He'll need to be at the school before 8am.
Rebecca has a Destination Imagination Regional Tournament. She needs to be at the school by 7am.
These two events are all day things, requiring parents to be there to chaperon and feed their children.
Tristan has his wrestling banquet Saturday evening at 6pm. This wouldn't be a problem except for the fact that the other two events might not be over in time. Tristan will be receiving his awards at this banquet, which means it's pretty important we be there.
Now, when I mentioned that the two youngest had to be at the "school" at certain times, I meant to say that they needed to be at different schools at the specified times.
I think we're going to have to call in reinforcements for this one. This means calling Grandma and Grandpa to haul a child or two to where they need to be.
What Was I Thinking?

Oh my!! I know how that is. Good luck with getting everyone everywhere. I think I may have a similar dilemma this Friday night. The teenager has a job interview at 4:30 in another town from where the second kid's basketball celebration is going to be at 6:30. I hope the interview doesn't last too long because two of the kids have to be picked up from daycare before I can even go to the basketball thing!
